Banking at ii89: how money gets in and how it gets back to you
What do you need to know before your first ii89 deposit?
Three things. You can fund your ii89 account nine different ways, each from AU$10. Only PayID, Skrill, Neteller and Payz can receive winnings, and they deliver within 5 minutes once you ask for AU$30 or more. And ii89 charges no fee on any of it; the only cost anywhere is the network fee on a Bitcoin transfer.
There is no maximum deposit at ii89, and live chat answers payment questions 24/7.
Why are paying in and getting paid two separate choices?
Because a payment method has to be able to receive money before a casino can pay you with it. A card, Apple Pay, Google Pay or a Bitcoin transfer sends money out of your account, but none gives ii89 a destination to send money back to. PayID does, because it is an address for your bank account. Skrill, Neteller and Payz do too, because each is an account that holds a balance in your name.
Your ii89 balance is a single total. It doesn't remember that AU$20 came from Google Pay and AU$30 from PayID. So you can deposit one way today and withdraw another way next week, as long as the withdrawal goes to one of the four methods that can receive.
How do the nine methods compare?
The table groups methods by what they can do for you, because two methods with the same deposit speed can behave very differently on payout day.
| Group | Methods | Paying in | Getting paid | Cost from ii89 |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Bank payout | PayID | Instant, from AU$10 | Within 5 minutes, guaranteed, into your bank | Free |
| Wallet payout | Skrill, Neteller, Payz | Instant, from AU$10 | Within 5 minutes, into the wallet | Free |
| Card | Visa/Mastercard | Instant, from AU$10 | Not possible | Free |
| Phone and other wallets | Apple Pay, Google Pay, eZeeWallet | Instant, from AU$10 | Not possible | Free |
| Crypto | Bitcoin | 10–30 minutes, from AU$10 | Not possible | Free; network fee applies |
What does each group involve?
Bank payout: PayID
You pay ii89 from your own banking app by entering a PayID, a phone number or email linked to a bank account, instead of a BSB and account number. The transfer runs on Australia's real-time payment system, often shown as Osko, so it lands instantly. To be paid by PayID you register one of your own with your bank; to deposit you don't need one. The ii89 PayID overview explains how it works.
Wallet payout: Skrill, Neteller and Payz
Each is an online account that stores money. You load it, pay ii89 from it, and ii89 pays winnings back into it. The money then stays in the wallet until you spend it or transfer it on, and that last step follows the wallet's own terms. Players who like gambling money kept out of their bank statement tend to choose this group.
Card: Visa and Mastercard
Familiar and instant, but one-way. Card issuers set their own policies on gambling transactions, so if a card deposit is declined, check with your bank.
Phone and other wallets: Apple Pay, Google Pay and eZeeWallet
Apple Pay and Google Pay charge a card saved on your phone, so they inherit the card's one-way nature. eZeeWallet is an e-wallet that ii89 accepts for deposits only. All three are quick ways in that need a payout route alongside them.
Crypto: Bitcoin
The slowest way in, at 10–30 minutes, because the Bitcoin network confirms each transfer before ii89 sees it. You pay the network fee from your wallet. The ii89 Bitcoin guide walks through a deposit.
Which method should you use?
Start from what matters most to you, then read across.
| What matters most | Best fit at ii89 | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Winnings in my bank, fast | PayID both ways | The only method that pays a bank directly, with a guaranteed 5-minute time |
| Gambling money kept separate | Skrill, Neteller or Payz both ways | Same speed as PayID, and the money sits outside your bank |
| Tapping my phone to deposit | Apple Pay or Google Pay in, PayID or a wallet out | Instant deposits; a payout route needed alongside |
| Using Bitcoin I already own | Bitcoin in, PayID or a wallet out | Deposit-only, with a 10–30 minute wait |
| Fewest accounts to manage | PayID both ways | Nothing to open beyond the bank account you already have |
Which route gets money back to your bank quickest?
Deposit speed and payout speed are only half the picture. What most people care about is the full round trip: from deposit, to play, to money back in an account they can spend from. Here is how the main routes compare at ii89.
| Route | Money in | Money out | Extra step to reach your bank |
|---|---|---|---|
| PayID in, PayID out | Instant | Within 5 minutes | No extra step |
| Wallet in, same wallet out | Instant | Within 5 minutes | A transfer from the wallet, on its own terms |
| Card or phone wallet in, PayID out | Instant | Within 5 minutes | No extra step |
| Bitcoin in, PayID out | 10–30 minutes | Within 5 minutes | No extra step |
Any route that ends with PayID puts winnings straight into your bank. The wallet routes are just as fast out of ii89, but add a step if your bank is the final stop.
What does that look like with real amounts?
Three hypothetical players, to show how the rules combine:
- The phone tapper. Deposits AU$40 by Google Pay; it shows instantly. Later the balance reaches AU$95. Google Pay can't receive, so they choose PayID, enter AU$95, and the full amount reaches their bank within 5 minutes.
- The wallet user. Deposits AU$25 from Neteller, ends on AU$60, withdraws AU$60 back to Neteller within 5 minutes, and leaves it there for next month.
- The short session. Deposits AU$10 by PayID and finishes with AU$22. That is under the AU$30 minimum withdrawal, so it stays in the ii89 balance for another time.
Who charges what when you pay ii89?
ii89 itself charges nothing to deposit or withdraw, on any method. Other parties in a payment set their own terms:
- The Bitcoin network charges a fee to process each transfer. Your wallet shows it before you send.
- Your bank decides its own daily transfer amounts and may pause a payment for a security check. If a payment is held at your end, check with your bank.
- Your e-wallet sets its own rules for loading money and moving it out.
So when something doesn't add up, the question is which party to ask. Money that never left your account: your bank or wallet. Money that left but didn't reach ii89, or a payout that is late: ii89 live chat.
How do you keep ii89 payments safe?
- Start every deposit from inside your ii89 account. Payment details from a text message, email or social post are not a safe source.
- Use accounts in your own name. A payout goes to the PayID or wallet you enter, so it should be one you control.
- Keep codes to yourself. ii89 never needs your banking password, wallet password, one-time code or Bitcoin seed phrase.
- Keep receipts until money lands. A bank or wallet confirmation is the quickest way for support to trace a payment.
What should you set up before you play?
- Choose your payout route: PayID registered with your bank, or a Skrill, Neteller or Payz account.
- Decide what you will spend this week and, if it helps, ask ii89 for a personal deposit limit. ii89 deposit limits shows how.
- Make your first deposit by whichever method is easiest. Any of the nine works from AU$10.
